For nearly three decades the name Carey has dominated the headlines in Colorado High Basketball. It demonstrates excellence, commitment, pride, winning, championships and tradition. It begans with a Hall of Fame coach/player in Rudy Carey, has been passed down to his son David as a former prep great and rising coaching star in his own right and currently is developing and perpetuating in nephew Brian, the gifted point guard of the recently crowned 2014 5A Boys Colorado High School Basketball State Champs.
