Why Men and Women Struggle with the Word NO! - May 12,2013

No is a complete sentence in my book, one that establishes boundaries and places limits. Personally, "no!" is my favorite word! However, Ive noticed over the years that many men dont want to hear "no!" from the mouths of women. Most seem to believe women have no right to deny their wishes by telling them "no!" or "not now" or "I dont think so". Men do not want to hear anything from women that denies them what they feel they are entitled to. Sadly, many women struggle with saying "no!" to males. Most of the time female hesitancy and fear of saying "no! to men is due to female socialization. Women are trained to believe that a woman must always be nice, sweet, gentle and acquiesce or submit to what a male wants or he wont "like" her. Some womens biggest fear is that they must do everything the man asks and give him whatever he wants or he will "leave" her. Lets talk about the word "no!" and why so many people of both genders struggle with it - both saying and accepting it. The call-in number ie 347-327-9215.
