TRUE CONFESSIONS, a look at three vital keys that work together to unleash the will and the power of God in our lives, continues in this weeks Bible study. If we do not use the three keys, they unlock nothing and we remain under the influence of forces that would hold us back in life. Last week, Timothy revealed the first key - the Word of God. Tonights focus will be on the second key -- the heart, or spirit -- what is it and how does it fit? "The heart is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked, who can know it?" says Jeremiah 17:9. Romans 10:9 points us in the right direction with these words! "If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved." Our heart has to be enlightened by the Word of God and ignited by the confession of our tongue, if we are to see the Power of God manifest in our lives! So, what is our heart anyway? How can we know what is in it? How can we align it with Gods Word? Does it really even matter what is in our heart anyway, so long as we do not act it out or speak it?
